Certified translations, also known as official translations, notarized translations, or “translations with the stamp,” are translations carried out by "sworn" translators. These are translations of official documents, e.g. birth certificates, degrees, report cards, court verdicts, copies of criminal background checks etc.
We'll provide you with top-quality certified translation services, conveniently located in the very centre of Brno. We deal with translations in over than 30 different languages. Most of the time, people ask us for:
- certified translations of birth and marrige certificates
- certified translations of degrees and report cards
- certified translations of court verdicts
- certified translations of criminal background checks etc.
These certified translations meet the requirements of state authorities for translations of foreign language texts for legal acts not only in the Czech Republic, but abroad as well. A proper certified translation consists of the original document (source language), the translated document (target language) and the translator's statutory declaration, including all needed stamps and signatures. Since all these parts are bound together, we don't recommend giving us the original. Instead, you can get a notarized, certified copy at any branch of Česká pošta (Czech Post) with a Czech Point service or by notaries. If needed, we'll be happy to have the copy made for you.
No two texts are exactly the same. As such, we'd be happy to take a look at your text and provide you with a non-binding price quote.
